Return & Refund Policy

This policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds work at The Brick.

1. Satisfaction Guarantee (General Merchandise)

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We offer a one-time reselection toward another product of equal or greater value. Any price difference and applicable delivery fees will apply.

Exclusions: As‑is, special‑order, ready‑to‑assemble (RTA), and floor model items are not eligible for the Satisfaction Guarantee.

2. Deposit Refunds

  • Deposits (excluding special orders) are fully refundable any time before delivery or pickup.
  • Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Cash deposits may be refunded by cheque if the cardholder is not present.
  • Special‑order deposits are non‑refundable once shipped.

3. Defective or Damaged Items

  • Please report damaged or defective items within 3 days of receipt.
  • Claims must relate to normal household use; damages from misuse, neglect, commercial use, or normal wear and tear are not covered.

4. Mattress Returns & Comfort Guarantee

  • 90‑Day Comfort Guarantee: Exchange your mattress within 90 days if you are not sleeping comfortably.
  • 180‑Day Upgrade: If purchased with a qualified mattress protector, the comfort period extends to 180 days.
  • Additional delivery charges and any price difference apply. One exchange per purchase.

5. Signature Warranty & Protection Plans

  • Extended protection is available for appliances, electronics, and furniture.
  • No‑Claims Credit: If no claims are made during the plan term, you may receive a merchandise credit up to the value of your plan (before taxes), redeemable within 90 days. Minimum purchase thresholds may apply.

6. Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original form of payment. If the original cardholder is not present for a cash purchase, refunds are issued by cheque and mailed to the address on file.

7. Conditions & Limitations

  • Returned items must include original packaging, accessories, and documentation.
  • Delivery, setup, and haul‑away fees are generally non‑refundable.
  • As‑is, special‑order, RTA, and floor model items are ineligible for standard returns.
